"Every day on Gothersgade, The Royal Life Guards marches past in their bearskins and make Copenhagen adventurous. 

So what could be more obvious than the nice basement restaurant on the corner of Gothersgade and Landemærket is named after just the the guards?" -AOK!

So of course, Granddad's Lifeguard picture is hanging in the bar ..

The restaurant is beautifully located with The Kings Garden as a view. 

It is located in historical premises with rustic walls, adorned with Danish works of art. 

Outdoors we have furnished with unique homemade furniture and we have decorated 

with trees and flowers both inside and out. These beautiful surroundings make Garden 

the perfect place to enjoy each others company.

Our commodity selection follows the changing seasons in Denmark, and include 

deliveries from our own farm on Funen, Nørre Søby Meat and Grambogaard. Our 

kitchen is new Nordic, and we try to get commodities and recipes from Funen as 

much as possible - our roots are still solidly planted in the Funen mold. 

We prioritize quality high and therefore make everything from scratch. Our dishes 

are always made from the best ingredients, freshly prepared after classic recipes 

and with a small personal touch.

We have open for both lunch (weekend) and dinner!
